Izu Peninsula Marine Litter Cleanup Project

our works for environment

Underwater cleaning in the ocean where you normally can't dive

Normally, diving is only permitted in places that are managed and open as diving points, but other places are just piling up trash.

MORE Planning negotiates and inspects the site

In order to open areas that are normally inaccessible or that divers have never dived into, MORE Planning negotiates and conducts preliminary inspections of the marine debris situation.

Professionals from all over the country gather in Izu

Since it is not a diving spot, there are no guide ropes in the water current. For safety, the work is carried out by professional divers from all over Japan.

1st session

Mochimune Fishing Port

When we conducted underwater cleaning in Shimizu in November 2023, we asked the fishing association if we could do underwater cleaning at Mochimune Fishing Port. In February 2024, we began discussing specific MORE plans with the fishing association, and they gave us permission to do the cleaning, saying, "We've been having trouble with getting tangled in fishing nets. We'd really like to ask you to do the cleaning."
